The White Sox have dealt 24-year old righty swinging infielder Osvaldo Martinez to the Dodgers for cash considerations. Martinez played in 60 games in AAA-ball for the White Sox this year and he was 38 of 214 (.178 avg, .450 OPS) with 15 runs scored, 0 homers, 13 RBIs and 4 stolen bases. Martinez was part of the return the White Sox got over the winter for manager Ozzie Guillen. But, he was so awful the White Sox were lucky to get anything for him. Martinez won’t be missed.
