Lefty reliever Andy Sisco to miss the season for the Chicago White Sox

Andy Sisco will miss the 2008 season for the Chicago White Sox because he needs Tommy John Surgery. The fireballing lefty will have a long rehab but he will likely throw the ball even harder when he’s ready to return to action in 2009. The White Sox will be very patient with Sisco because not many people on this planet can throw a baseball left handed like Sisco can.

I have been suprised by the White Sox success in the early part of the season. The offense is a definite improvement, but I didn’t expect the pitching to be as on point as it has. John Danks is a sleeper that could have a big effect on the back end of the rotation.
