The Chicago Cubs sign Scott Moore
The Cubs have signed 27-year old lefty swinging 3B/2B Scott Moore to a minor league deal. Moore played in 41 games for the Orioles last season and he was 18 of 86 (.209 avg, .611 OPS) with 8 runs scored, 3 homers, 10 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. He has now played in 80 games in parts of four years in the majors and he is 41 of 184 (.223 avg, .640 OPS) with 17 runs scored, 7 homers, 27 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. This was a decent signing to bring back Moore to the Cubbies where he started his major league career.
hey cubs try and get jim thome like for a 2year worth 3million and adam dunn for a 2 year worth 3.5 milion ok please and get kevin gregg for a 1 year worth 1.5 million dollars and get carlos pena for a 2 year worth 3.5 million dollar deal ok please that would make the cubs better for next season ok i’m 16 years i love the cubs since i was 2 years old thanks bye
That would certainly make the Cubs better Gilberto. I don’t see any of those guys signing those kind of deals with the Cubs. They are going to have to ante’ up if they want to contend for the Central Division title with the Cardinals & Reds.
